Ultra-cycling expedition

Organization

AUTONOMY

Full autonomy.

Ferries, accommodation, and food are entirely at the participants’ expense.

NAVIGATION
& SAFETY

Checkpoints (CPs) will be revealed about three months before the event. They will be located in recognized areas, carefully chosen by our team. Expect some gravel sections (rideable tracks — no mountain bike required).

The GPS tracker is provided by our partner Madcap.CC and will be handed out at the start village.
As the event is self-supported, the tracker ensures participants’ safety and allows friends and family to follow your live position.

THE ISLAND PATH

Date and start time : 00:01 on September 13, 2026 at the Hippodrome du Deffends in Sault (84).

The Island Path is an expedition against time.

Tracking will be paused between each ferry crossing.

Ports and ferries are determined by the organization. Each participant must book their own ferry tickets:

– Ferry #1: Toulon → Bastia
To be booked at registration.

Promotional code available in the expedition manual

– Ferry #2: Bonifacio → Santa Teresa
To be booked before or during the event. We recommend reserving this ferry as early as possible.

– Ferry #3: Cagliari → Palermo
To be booked at registration.

Promotional code available in the expedition manual

Important: Only one ferry per week crosses from Cagliari to Palermo — on Saturday, September 19.

The organisation accepts no responsibility if a rider fails to reach the ferry on time.

No ferry, no Tiramisu !

THE VOLCANO PATH

Date and start time : 00:01 on September 13, 2026 at the Hippodrome du Deffends in Sault (84).

On the Volcano Path, only one short crossing of about 20 minutes is required. Ports are fixed (Villa San Giovanni → Messina), and the ferry must be booked during the event.
